1. Skimping on oral hygiene
Maintaining good oral health is essential in reducing bad breath. If you don’t brush and floss regularly, harmful bacteria can attack tooth enamel, which will lead to tooth decay. Make sure you replace your toothbrush every few months, since a number of microorganisms can live in your toothbrush and infect your mouth. Visit your dentist for regularly scheduled cleanings (for most people, that’s every six months to a year) to help keep plaque build-up to a minimum.
